Refrigerator Pickled Asparagus
What You Need
- 2 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus, trimmed (make sure the asparagus will fit in your jar- we recommend 1/4L cylindrical jar)
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 1/2 tsp mustard seed
- 1 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 1/2 tsp dill seed
- Fresh dill sprigs
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups distilled white vinegar
- 1/3 cup pickling salt
- 1/4 cup white sugar

Fresh Asparagus
What You Do
Add asparagus into the jars. Make sure that they fit tightly together.
Evenly add the spices between the jars and a few dill sprigs.
In a medium pot, add water, vinegar, salt, and sugar. Bring to a low boil. Make sure the sugar and salt have completely dissolved.
Add the hot liquid to the jars and seal with an airtight cover. Store in the fridge for at least 2 days before opening. Enjoy within 3-4 weeks.
